Root Hog Service Trip to Oregon • Summer of 2024
Explore Central Oregon with locals who are making a difference in the Wychus River Basin. This 6-day adventure will include service projects, outdoor activities, and campfire talks. In the mornings, you'll help with trail maintenance, river and habitat restoration, or other projects that are important to the community. In the afternoons, you'll get to experience the best of Central Oregon with river rafting, hiking, biking, and bouldering. And in the evenings, you'll relax around the campfire with guest speakers who will share their knowledge of the unique biology, geology, and history of the region. This is a great opportunity to learn about the environment and make a difference.. It's also a chance to connect with other like-minded people and have some fun in the great outdoors. The cost of the trip is $3000 per person. This includes all activities, transportation. excluding airfare, food, and lodging. Dates Who Cost What to expect Chaperones	• July 21 - 27, 2024 • All members of Dragons and Surge players and their families. • No experience is necessary, but you should be in good physical condition. • 12 members per trip • $3,000.00. • Rock Climbing • River Rafting • Trail Hiking • Forest Conservation work in the Wychus River Basin • Service work at Camp Caldera • Parents are welcome on the trip, chaperones will be required.
